		Jumbo Quickpole Boom Length: 280-1060 cm, Weight: 2650 gr. These unique booms can be extended to 10 meters and use carbon fibre tubes up to 40mm OD. Due to their great length they are not intended for normal hand use and so there are various accessories for mounting the booms on a Manfrotto light stand with cantilevering angle brackets and counterweights. By extending the stand they can be used to place microphones up to 12 meters above ground level in the following recording situations: Studio, Classical music on location, Church organ, Feature film crowd scenes etc. Jumbo booms have been used on location to position small cameras, lights, measuring equipment or aerials. The booms can be internally cabled and are fitted with a slotted tube and carabiner for the counter weight: A special tip is available to pass a multicore cable up the boom for surround sound recordings. The end is fitted with a slotted tube, ring and carabiner for attaching a counter weight.
